it maybe catchy-er in korean
To view oneself as a "slave" or "king" glorifies oppressors and dehumanizes both. But, the oppressed when they recognize both themselves and the oppressors as human, then they can liberate both. Oppressers can liberate but only if they are truly allies. False generosity is but a bandaid meant to sooth their ego. A brief summary of like, ten pages from "Pedagogy of the Oppressed by Paulo Freire".
Reccomended reading (maybe start with the synopsis, it is dense) Pedagogy of the Oppressed by Paulo Freire It's really good.
Kids are still developing social understandings, and bullying at a school is 1000% worse when that school is underfunded (which, majority black schools is synonymous). I'm not defending, but explaining what can be fixed. Any racism within majority black schools isn't because the kids magically hate white people or that they've been encouraged to bully but because the way that they see it maybe, either bully or be bullied. They see and hear so much about how various white people treat their family, and will most likely treat them, and don't want to be the victim. This sorta, imitate the *oppresser before expanding understanding and humanizing themselves and oppressers is an early stage to liberating oneself. It's the other side of the coin of old racist and ***ist values, people don't mention it much but those values make life for white dudes worse too. It dehumanizes both oppressed and oppressers. **(Oppresser isn't a moral judgment, it's a broad term like "royalty" and "peasants" used to describes groups social functions.) I mean, if someone is really racist like, how many friends will they never have? They could have met "the one" but women are all just weak. They could do things they enjoy but, it's better to be "manly" and show how "tough" they are. But yeah, want kids to bully each other less? Well, first start with the racist adults and lack of school funding.
The contrast of the "manly man" that (especially white) guys are told to be like, rational (unempathetic), strong (bottle up emotions), successful (more social pressure), and who they actually are (varied people with flaws). It's the other side of the coin of old racist and ***ist values, people don't mention it much but those values make life for white dudes worse too. It dehumanizes both oppressed and oppressers. (Oppresser isn't a moral judgment, it's a broad term like "royalty" and "peasants" used to describes groups social functions.) Sorry for the rant, just my crazy libertarian socialist "I want ppl to be able to be happy" side coming out.
huckin'
soon now
the US also had internment / concentration camps of Japanese people
The US had Japanese interment/ concentration camps, /nuked/Japan twice. Those are just the first two that come to mind.
I have a time nearsightedness because of a dopamine deficiency. Basically, developing an internal clock requires the internalizing of reflecting and planning before acting. Dopamine deficiency (and over reabsorbtion) means a perpetual mild bored / tiredness. To compare, does a dehydrated person contemplate the water in front of them? For neurotypical people, they have the surplus emotional energy to fully develop a sense of time and are satiated enough with mildly rewarding tasks (whatever mundane but, long term important task) that they can make themselves do it. But for me, it's like asking me to crawl through hot sand for a warm, near empty bottle.
*a lot more (maybe?)
SJW needs to invite YJH to his party so they can xp share and YJH can level up some.
aka pfft
it means dumb or idiot in japanese. Baka is said a lot in anime & manga so, it's referenced here because it fits the tone of this manwha (Korean word for comic / manga).
cousin "older sister" (in spirit)
Statements sorta structurally slack, so sentences? Nah
