Don't think it's grandma. The destroyer would know her sent and don't think she was as powerful as described by the destroyer. I too was thinking the original demon who killed his own mate.

I think he felt something not right and went back to her.

We all knew patience was not something the Destroyer was good at, but boy does he need to take a step back before he loses her by pushing her too fast. I hope he can regain control of his emotions and channel Skender while Skender is still away.

So we don't fully know what Lucrezia did or didn't do while covering the "kings duties"... is this her doing?!? Can't wait to see how this plays out.

Ok... wasn't there mention of her village / town being taken over and burned? also I know she talks about her legs but also occasionally mentions body with scaring and that it won't let her forget what she's been through... I am wondering if she was burned when invasion happened and was trying to escape the house & village?

He can read her mind so he knows.... but will be interesting to learn his thoughts from his POV about their meeting.

I think Lazarus is only interested in her because he knows "the king" has a thing for her and he wants to see it play out. We recently learned the demons were all mated with humans, or that's what I understood, as part of their punishments. Alexander has talked about her scent and keeps thinking about her... from prior story with Raven and what I believe I learned, we know that when a demon can't get someone out of their minds and they keep thinking about them they are connected and likely their mate. I am thinking that "Rox" and Alexander are possibly mates....

Looks like author move to Galatea Book 2 is there, but have to buy Book 1 to open Book 2. Book 2 still ends on a cliffhanger. No idea if/when would see Book 3 or if we'll remain on the other platform. I was hoping someone here knew something more haha

Think she is going back to her normal schedule of updates... but going to trying for longer chapters with her updates.

Skender told William that a long time ago Demons used their fangs to feed, but that was not the case any longer and that they were used just to mate at this point. I wonder if the need to feed has brought the twins back to that being way they feed, and punishment being that they have to learn to control their demon and urge to feed.

I don't think it is part of his punishment that he now unable to awaken the defender, but part of why he is being punished. I think it's more that he was slow to act and that he didn't put the work into awakening the defender that caused him to ask to be punished.

I think she is happy he said it, but still questions if it is true. She has lost so much and feared for so long I don't think she can just go off his statement, she is still scared.

I love that Angelica is able to put pieces together so quickly with the smallest amount of information. Raven is finally opening up easier and being willing to take ownership of his mistakes. Love that they comfort each other the way they do! So one thing I keep thinking about... Angelica has yet to tell him she had a dream of him biting her. I assume that was a vision of future while other visions have been of past/history. I can't wait to keep learning more. This book is amazing and really shows what an excellent writer you are, Jasmine. Thank you for always keeping us on our toes and engaged with the story and characters ❤!

I think Angelica would have recognized and known who the red head woman was if it was her mom, BUT there still maybe a connection just farther back since that was so long ago... a great great (who knows how many greats) grandmother. You could be onto something!
