the thing you hear about life expectancy being 35 is a skewed statistic granted it varies based on time and region. Many/majority of people survived until later years. The low life expectancy is from a low survival rate if children being averaged with adults. say for example they have six kids pass between the ages of 1 and 10 say 2,3,2,4,7, and 5... then six adults live to 45,62,33,77, and 54 if I average them I can say the life expectancy is 23to24 years old. this isn't a perfect statement just an illustration how some things we learned in school was wrong.
