When I first started reading this novel, I almost dropped it because I thought it was heading down an angsty path—but I was wrong. So far, the male lead (ML) knows exactly what he wants, and he isn’t swayed by his so-called childhood best friend’s younger sister. That best friend actually sacrificed himself to save the ML, which is why the younger sister believes the ML owes it to her to marry her. The female lead (FL) isn’t particularly smart or strong, but she does know how to set boundaries, and I appreciate that about her. Overall, this novel has me hooked, and I’m looking forward to seeing how things unfold.
This novel falls under the angst genre, which is personally not to my taste. The female lead (FL), despite her intelligence, continually forgives the male lead (ML), even after multiple attempts on her life. I found this aspect frustrating and disappointing, as it undermined her otherwise strong character. However, for readers who enjoy emotionally intense stories filled with conflict and pain, this novel might be worth exploring.
I dislike the ML as he mistreats the FL. I kinda understand that the FL used to be unruly but she has changed. And I feel like the FL might have been framed. She might not had purposely hit the girlfriend of the ML with a car. It's a pity that the ML is not the second brother.
Interesting story. I like the FL as she is brave. She keep on deceiving the ML even though she knows that he is dangerous and petty.
interesting.
First time reading a rebirth book like this.It is only 60 chapters but I can't wait for more. The female lead is pushed towards a moving truck by her husband.
shocker.
