I’m not sure what to think about this. Zarin is an *****, albeit a young one in the demon world. He is going somewhere he belongs, and he will learn the lesson that his parents have tried to teach him...but that won’t happen soon, and many will be hurt along the way. The first are Roshan and Klara, then it will be his sister, then it will be Lucian, Hazel, Heaven. In the end, he will be hurt most of all before he realizes where things went wrong.

Zarin is in more trouble than Roshan and Klara realize. In fact, according to Roshan’s thoughts, he is in the most trouble possible!! 😈 😈

Even though Zarin has finally admitted that he hates Zamiel, and that he wants Heaven. But does he actually realize that he only desires her and not love her? Does this realization make him a better person?? No. And Lothaire is not one to show him the difference and certainly not help him to become a better person. Lothaire will use Zarin’s arrogance to get Heaven on his side. I very much dislike Lothaire.

I am so glad that it is her and not a trick!! How fun to escape hour mind for a little while and just be free like a child!!

Oh no!! That is NOT Heaven! That is Lothaire tempting him and trying to cause problems where there shouldnt be any!!!

Hazel is too smart to let things slip by her!! That is where Heaven gets it! And to have Zamiel find is worth...no, not find, realize his self worth is wonderful!! To be truly happy in the moment, in the present with the one you love...there is nothing better! Now, how to get past the business of Lothaire....this will not be easy, for any of them.

HA!!!!! Zarin tried so hard to catch Zamiel in a situation to turn Heaven against him and it flopped in his face!! Now he will have to explain WHY Rose went to Zamiel’s house, and that was because he sent her! There will no longer be a future nor a friendship between Heaven and Zarin.

That is why Heaven is meant for more than just being a bride!! Why Zarin’s feelings that she changed are wrong and he is being close minded to who Heaven teally is. Lucian also realizes that Heaven needs to be watched and protected from his father now more than ever! She is exactly who Lothaire thought she would be, and worth the trouble he is trying to start! Zamiel has his hands full with Zarin and his antics. Zarin really is childish and Zamiel is so much more than just a good fit for Heaven, he is also a good fit for the kingdom!

Now I am thinking that it is not only Lothaire that is manipulating Heaven’s dreams, but also Zarin. He is manipulating the situations too. He knew that Zamiel would come with the nightmare that Heaven was having and he wanted to be sure that Zamiel saw him there and saw him kiss her. I am liking Zarin less and less.

This was a very interesting chapter! None of the romance as in previous chapters, but there have been many steps taken towards Heaven’s goal of becoming ruler. Information regarding Ilyas was discovered, and last but not least, Callum’s comment at then end, very intriguing!! I am excited for more!! Plus, I think Zarin is learning that attempting to win Heaven back may not be as easy as he thought. That Heaven becoming a different person (in his eyes) is more than just the work of Zamiel, but that Heaven is growing and truly becoming her own person!

OOPS! Heaven forgot to let Ilyas know that he needed to be more human like in his killing! Guess that will be a lesson for later! Now she can mive on to the next stage of her plan. And she can get back to Zamiel!

Her strategy is great! She is so smart to think of how to use SOME magic, but not all to help wittle away at the army/guards without being noticed and drawing attention to them.

Wonderful!!! Not only has Heaven found a way to save the children of Valish from King Rufus, but also a valid reason for her father to declare war on Valish and gain their resources. She is so smart and kind.

I love that without words she toyed With his arrogance and now she will not kill him as she should. i am sure ahe will show mercy. However, should King Rufus take her Mercy for granted she will remove it quickly!!

This is the work of Lothaire!! I know that it is! Beaven would not do that on her own! Lothaire has realized that Zamiel is too smart for him to get rid of hIm on his own, so he is manipulating Heaven to get rid of him instead. I sure hope Zamiel will be ok!!

Zamiel is indeed smart, and he knows to stay ahead of Zarin’s tactics! To go to Irene, whom know only will help him with his dreams and questions, but then is a witness of sorts against Zarin’s plans to attempt to ruin Zamiel’s reputation. Irene can now vouch that Zamiel had bot been with a woman, because he had come to see her. And Lothaire and his tricks to drag Heaven away from her family, and from Zamiel....smh....he should know better; Irene and Lucian would never let that happen.

I don’t think Zarin has any real idea about what Heaven wants, who Zamiel is, nore how to “fix” his situation. If he sent Rose to Zamiel, what he will really fo is upset Heaven and everything will backfire on him. This is the difference between Zarin and Zamiel. Zamiel doesnt need to prove someone elses weaknesses to make him look stronger, he showed Heaven his weaknesses and that alome made him stronger. Zarin needs to be a man that can own up to what he does and who he is to show Heaven his weakness for her. What he is doing is proving to Heaven that he is a child who just wants to blame someone else.

Heaven should have let Zamiel know that she was losing control around him and needed to be careful. Then Zamiel wouldnt worry about the distance she was trying to create and the meaning behind it. I am glad they have shared their feelings towards each other!! Their comfort with each other is great! However, her naivety and young age glares through when Ilyas tells her about the King’s secret. I wish Zamiel would have offered to visit her while she traveled. I just hope that Zarin showed up to be a positive addition to Heaven’s growth and not be a hindrance to Heaven’s plans.

The slapping now makes sense!! I would have had whiplash from the quickness of the shift the conversation, but Heaven seemed to recover decentlt! I would not have !!! And the passion and the love they have for each other is Wonderful !!!

Good point! I forgot how she slapped Lucian! I am excited to hear what it is about!!
