Mistake by the author. Just- to be clear, not transmigration. Wanted the challenge of never being in the head of the only unknown character, but it does make it a bit hard to clear up unintended secrets, because no one would ever think of transmigration outside of transmigration, so it will never be mentioned, but... well, it's hard to prove a negative without ever mentioning the subject
I suppose that would be me? The second part, at least. I am not bold enough to try and claim the whole "heavy hangs the head" thing. But I have actually been considering going back to edit this line in particular, into "Heavy hangs the head which bears the crown, but if the King's head cannot bear it? Then let it fall to the ground... Crown still around it." What do you think, as a lover of the original, works best?
No, he said that the ONLY woman a man should obey is their mother. Notice that obeying men is fine, but women? pft, don’t make him laugh!
First of all, thanks for the review, that was really nice. Second of all... maybe soon, but maybe not soon. Actually, let's just cross off until the first half of May has passed for quick updates, since I have around five final projects to finish in that time, but after that! Maybe. Depends on which subjects I have exams for, and how hard I need to study.
You know, I get your point, it has been quite a few seconds since I updated. In all seriousness, no; I am slow, but I have no plans of abandoning this story, seeing as the only reason I abandoned my previous story was that it was so long that I could not write anything new for years. In contrast, this one, well, it has an ending planned already.
“I never loved my brothers. A sad thing for a man to admit, but it's true. You were the brother I chose.” - Robert to Ned. I get that it is probably exajurated, but they haven't seen each other in years with Robert in the Vale, and they are very different people.
what you agree with is a completely different statement than the one written above, you say that a person should listen to their mother, not my exact opinion, but fair enough. what the author claims is that a mans mother is the ONLY woman a man should listen to, and that he should in all other cases dismiss her statements or following her lead on the basis of her gender
i know it is, but i find it to be a singularly stupid one, which, to my interpretation at least, implies that men are somehow better than women, since the saying says nothing about men not obeying other men, an idea i personally find grating
did you miss the part where it said that his aloof look were their weakness? not saying that being handsome hurt, just that neglect and disregard made them want him.
well, the thing about haki is that they can't check how much they have left, because will ISN'T a finite resouce
to be completely honest, this isn't my type of story, at all, but, that doesn't make it a bad story. however, aside from my personal preference, it is still flawed, like any other story, now, those flaws aren't that bad, there are slight things around the grammar and such, but other than that the writing is fine. but, the most important part of the story is, without a doubt, David. the reason he is more important is that the story is told from a series of letters, with David being the author, and in those letters he writes about his contemplation on the nature of humanity, with the book being mostly an internal philosophical debate as David ponders whatever subject he tackles that particular chapter. in conclusion, it is an introspective piece of media that drags you deeper and deeper into your own thoughts until you finally land in a place of contemplation you will never forget nor want to forget if you let it. it is not a book for everyone, but if you are the type to enjoy the rarely seen artistic and thoughtful media in a world focused on grabbing your attention for as long as possible, I think you will enjoy this book.
you... you took two different expressions, isn't it either [blank] this [blank] that or [blank] here [blank] there, not half of each
if it was a one-night stand id be prone to agree with you, however, I think there's more nuance involved when she was essentially drugged and rapped.
yeah it isn't exactly a system thing to say is it?
