Or does raw mana just accumulate around strong entity like a gravitational field around a massive object? In this case the existence itself of "gods" or legend may be a cause of storm... In this case I may understand the fear of the exponential .

So chaos storm are cause by a "super critical" state of mana mainly cause by external intervention... But maybe like the super critical state of water it may occur naturally in some extreme rare case ?Or chaos storm are just full on "man" made ?
