it's too early for him to treat Xing Miaomiao this way. It would have made more sense if he "forgot" to get her lunch, then apologized for it but in a slightly indifferent way that would make her unsure if he really meant it.
There is humor that made me laugh out loud a few times, touches of eroticism that despite being small, were exciting, and the characters seem intelligent and not exaggerated (at least not in their behavior). I also like that the system is cheeky and that the MC has actual conversations with it. Usually in these kinds of stories the system is too much like a computer program, with limited interactivity and no personality. The way the system insults the MC definitely spices things up and adds interest. Overall I'd say that the execution of these standard story component is very good, and I can warmly recommend it to anyone looking for a story involving elements of reincarnation, cultivation, systems, fantasy China, and business. If there is one negative to point out, it's that there are grammatical errors. However, the sentence structure is good and there are no spelling or punctuation errors, so it's still easy to read and understand, so it doesn't hurt the enjoyment at all. I'll be following this story because I definitely want to see what happens next.
I love my story, even if at times I feel like I'm writing just for myself because of lack of feedback. I just felt like I got burned out after writing a chapter a day in July. I can't say anything about a release schedule because each time I do I end up not living up to it. I'll just I intend to keep writing. what I wrote so sarbis less than half of what I want to do with the story. It's just that sometimes I need to take breaks to mentally digest the story before I can write it, and I'm not going to wear myself out and drive myself crazy by chasing daily releases.
I found this story in the Pocket FM app, only there it was called "The Billionaire's Accidental Bride," and they changed the names of the characters and corporations to sound Western, but other than the localization, the first chapter is pretty much identical, word for word.
The story is written in a riveting way that draws in the reader and keeps him turning page after page. The writing is fluent with few mistakes, and the author skillfully weaves together many threads of the plot while keeping all the characters distinct and memorable. The story includes romance, family drama, underworld plotting, business, celebrity careers, Hollywood-style computer hacking, revenge, reincarnation, steamy sex scenes, and feel-good fluff. I read many different stories on this site and this is one of the best. I highly recommend it.
I thought it would be nice for everyone to set up Privileged chapters so that you can view the upcoming chapters in advance, so I set it up based on my stockpile. Turns out it doesn't let you view unpublished chapters in advance, but instead requires the chapters to be published and then they are kept hidden after publication until the quota of Privileged chapters is filled up, and then get revealed one at a time when a new Privileged chapter gets added when the quota is full. This also means that any chapter I add to Privilege gets counted on the day it got added, not on the day it becomes available outside of Privilege. This is bad for everyone, because it means that if I put all of my stockpile into Privilege now until the quota is full, I'll have nothing left for MGS, so I have to schedule chapters to get released 1 a day, but because Privilege isn't full yet that means that all those newly released chapters won't be available outside of Privilege, so it will look like I'm not releasing any new chapters for the next 10 days straight, even while I'm doing daily releases. This was not my intention. It was an accident. I merely meant to give advance access to future chapters while performing daily releases. The silver lining is that the lowest tier of Privilege that I set up only costs 1 coin and gives advanced access to 2 chapters, so you can get the daily chapters that way, if I understood correctly how this works. I apologize for my mistake. I'm still learning how this platform works and misunderstood how Privilege works.
