sure, why can't it be a grand work.it is not the they have to start designer to make a grand work. it is just that Star designers can make grand works more consistently. and it was also mentioned that Master mech designers need to have made a grand work if they want to advance to start designer. so Master mech designers are indeed capable of making them. if ves can make Masterwork while in journeyman stage then he must up the game to grandwork in his senior stage

now that I think about it, it shouldn't be hard for rubrathans to figure out that Ves had built a brand new design spirit for cross clan when they asked for such network. this should let them easily arrive at a conclusion that it is possible for ves to design customized spirits.
