love the story so far, it flows far better than some of the others. just follow you own path don't take others criticism to heart people can be complete tools online. Writing and creating is hard I won't lie about that just keep at it even the greats have doubts and don't worry a few spelling mistakes are totally forgivable if the story is great

You should continue, It doesn't matter if the story fails or not the main point of any fanfiction is to get you thoughts and ideas about how that particular story should have been told or to unleash chaos. don't let anyone dictate how you do that.
