It’s interesting that Dokja is well aware of his own character. He knows he’s acting like a hypocrite, and that sort of makes him less of a hypocrite. But it also makes me worried about the ending. I hope it won’t be a sad ending for him. He’s not a saintly person, but he deserves to survive.
I really like the mc and Gilyoung’s relationship. Mc seems to care for him at a certain higher level than towards the others. And Gilyoung’s absolute loyalty towards Dokja is just adorable. I’m also interested in the mc’s past, does it make me a constellation too?
I think the mc’s reader view sort of makes his character a little passive in a way. It’s like in movies about a character knowing the future and hesitates to make big moves because of it. And he’s also somewhat dependent on the protagonist because of his view as a reader. It’d take a big wrong turn of event for him to wake up (if that ever happens in this novel).
