i appreciate the way you have gone, as a parent who adopted older youth, feelings about bio parents are... complicated .. for the youth at best. this feels realistic to me and I Like the direction.

inside each of us is two wolves, in her case, a wolf and a snake. I think she needs her father's experience in balance to bring them together. I think he needs her for closure and growth. But if your other plot has more growth for her, go for it. She needs to be a key part of his growth either way.

obviously it is now time for a pov change, what happened behind the scenes at the half blood selection

depends, do you have a good story reason for not joining. is she trying to connect with Emery or trying to prove she doesn't need him since he abandoned her (in her eyes). either could work.

you realize next is a 12 chapter side quest...
