An easy way to grind this would be to use a weak mob and the potion thief/healing shower method Just let the mod hit you while you constantly heal until it’s either maxed or it would take a few weeks to do so

Strip mining was never the fun part of the game. Technoblade didn't do it unless he absolutely had to. It was a monotonous and brain-numbing process almost as bad as farming potatoes. Yet, it was necessary for progress. - koa_the_kid10dCommented

In reality, furnaces had ridiculously temperatures used to melt metals and refine them. It wasn't very practical to use them for cooking.
