Yup! I encourage you to read on further, though. A lot more character development occurs, especially towards the end of the volume.

Hey! I appreciate the feedback! I realized this later on; I tried to focus more on the world-building than early character development. Unfortunately, there are definitely some drawbacks. I'm going to keep this in mind going forward, though!
