to be fair tho, he watch humanity come to an end in his timeline. losing everything before being sent back. so understandable that he's rougher when dealing with people. he can't mess up. this is his only chance to stop everyone he cared about from meeting the same bad end they did in his original timeline. tho, not to deny that his attitude can be quite rough.
