It's a fanfiction. Not every detail needs to be exactly the same. Especially something as minor as this.

Just because a lot of Aura's strength is tied to her beast taming doesn't mean that she isn't still level 100.

They did have undead. Remember the "Undead King" guy that Sebas killed in 2 seconds?
