I've heard many people say that. And while I understand the sentiment, I just don't feel it's totally true. Agni has been dealing with letting go of her traumas and growing into her role as a succubus. This too is also a type of growth. In this instance though, its impractical for her to be "useful" in a battle like this. Their role was never to actively be a part of the battle, simply to act as a support and rescue role. For me, as the author it's just a process. I'm nearing an important part in the story (currently at 210 chapter) where all of this "uselessness" you are experiencing will become a catalyst for change. So, I can understand if you would like to stop reading but what I can say is that ultimately it will be worth it.

Yes. The story is linked closely to development of the game, but I think I will just make the fiction it's own story.

Ah, thanks that's really high praise. I've been so busy writing that I haven't really had time to get onto webnovel as much. I recently reached a certain milestone in the fiction that better explains Agni's trauma. (around chapter 105ish?) And around 116 or so she's begun actively doing the work needed to get behind her issues and become a "true succubus". It's refreshing to see that some people don't mind character development. Thanks for your feedback. Have you ever played games like "final fantasy"? Generally in those RPGS the player has a predefined class which determines the weapons they can use. In fact, just about all RPG style games do. DnD, even onto more recent games. It's sort of the same thing with MSS, She's a succubus, so she has a certain amount of weapons at her disposal. Halberd, Scythe, Spear and later on a Whip. Furthermore, her class is mid-range, and her skills lend towards crowd control. Each class also has a pool of skills that the player can choose from, and some optional general skills. The pool of skills are class based and already determined, while the general skills as you might have guessed are things that any classes can select. The "magic" that you speak of was one such general skill. I'm not really posting this for your benefit, as I'm not hard up for readers and frankly I always encourage people to read things they actually enjoy. I'm just explaining this because your review is a bit misleading and other people reading this may actually want to find out more for themselves.
