we're paying for chapters early, yes... but an increase in Priv tier and a dump of chapters to get us all to buy then it tailing off at the end of the month is what people are complaining about. I bet there's a mass release on the 1st when priv refreshes to get people to buy in again... we wouldn't mind if there were decent reasons, but it's just excuses. If JKS planned ahead he could have a good buffer of chapters so that on his off days he could dip into that, but it seems he just writes it on the day if he feels like it. When you're paying someone for something and they promise results, it's hard not to be annoyed when they don't produce what they said they would.

mass release + upgraded priv on priv renewal day was a very clever move on JKS's part. I'm guessing the owed chapters as a mass release on the 1st to try and get people to buy priv again... I'll just wait until next week instead and read them like non-priv people.

This book is the only reason I have the bloody app, and without sounding like a dick I don't think I'm getting what I paid for. Priv only lasts so long then you have to pay again, with the author getting the coin but not delivering... and this new Priv tier is so much more for not very much. 15 chapters ahead when he's only releasing one or two a day. I think I'm with you on not renewing.

it's sad, but I don't think I'll be paying for privilege again until he can consistently keep up with what he says he will do.
