To those who comment below, I would say to go and watch the Good Place. It is a work of fiction and yes, some of the things are exaggerated, but it holds some truth. If we retain or sense of self, going to heaven, we are bound to be bored once all of our dreams are met. Though bored might not be the right word, but I think you can see what I’m getting at. Some may end up being more inclined to that lifestyle like myself, but as long as the sense of self is there, once you’ve done it all, you may just want to rest more permanently. Then you wouldn’t be you, cease to exist, or go to reincarnation. Or however the afterlife actually works, who’s to say.
Now, I can honestly say that the math ain’t mathing. Because it makes sense that there would be an 11.01 if the rates stayed at 0.015. Two years and four days would add up to that amount. It won’t if after 10% it switched to 0.02.
This would actually be pretty neat and make a lot of sense. But yeah, are we giving him too much credit?
I think he is talking about what he said, not did
… won’t he get in trouble though??
What kind of blasphemy is this ??? 🫣
Wow friend, you’re really patient. I would have miscounted within the first few minutes and then loose myself in my own thoughts
I almost feel bad for the duche a this point... but then why’s my smile still splitting my face in half?
Funny enough, I’m practically doing the same thing right now. I have over a dozen books that I’m reading simultaneously
No matter what anyone tells me, Dumbles and Sarutobi both f***ed up with the one persons who was supposed to be their main charge/priority. They were just KIDS (one holding a dangerous weapon and the other a 'child of prophecy') and I just always felt like they could have done more. It just doesn’t make sense that they so willfully neglected such important people (Dumbles more than Sarutobi). It seems a bit too much like grooming on both their parts when you look at all the little details. I’ll throw Sarutobi a bone since he’s in charge of a morally questionable military village, but that still dosen’t make it right.
And there goes the only reson why I added this book to my library. Not hating or anything, just so you know, but I am disappointed and no longer feel the need to continue. Maybe if it happened later in the book...
... okay. I don’t know if it’s just because I’m reading this half asleep, but that paragraph made almost no sense for a good while
I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one who thought so. My scalp is still tingling right mow....
I was thinking more of a dolphin approach...
That moment you have to read a paragraph and then reread it before you go….
Actually, compared to the “hard work” before, I have to reluctantly agree with him 🤔
