wherever he goes, disaster follows. every time he's been paired up in a squad, something happens to that squad. that's how every strong monster has shown up, wanting to tangle with Adam. no risk, no reward. he gets a lot of rewards by taking a lot of risks, even though he has no say in anything.

these probably aren't jet fighters as we think. they are probably more like a V-22 Osprey, using jet engines. a normal jet fighter wouldn't have had the room for 5 passengers and a lounge like in the rescue chapters.
