but it's not a fantasy world ... they play a video game that uses fantasy tropes but they actually live in a non-fantasy environment barring some very advanced tech. it's a legit and constructive criticism that could help the author if they actually cared

I think it's like from the goblin hunter anime. which i found completely disturbing btw it was shocking to see that in an animated series of any kind. i stopped watching it and didn't get very far.
