when you say that anyone intelligent would choose sound if its a power choice i disagree. think about this for a minute if you had the power of absolute power over lightning that effectively means plasma as well which is superheated gas where the particles are moving super fast, 99% of the intire universe is made of plasma. That means that you would effectively have the entire 4th state of matter to use. Not to mention what you can do with lightning alone, if you've watched all of hunter Xhunter just think of killiwa if you haven't than think about the idea of speeding up reaction time, your muscles buy shocking specific parts to make you run not efficiently or as a propulsion force the list goes on.

I don't think the novel necessarily sucks or is bad, but in my opinion its a bit hard to read. I don't mean any disrespect either when I say this but the way you made the mc or at least the way he acts is hypocritical. An example I saw in the first few chapters was when you reference his past when he tortures the orc and how it had to do with the psychological trauma he far from scientists torturing him, yet a few chapters later he saves slaves because he hates seeing what happened to him happen to others. If his reasoning is different for these two than I'm sorry for this comment,bl but currently him torturing the orc for pleasure is something a villain would do and saving someone since they went through the same thing as you is what a hero would do.

I'm not trying to diss the author but isn't this making the mc a hypocrite, I'm referring to when he tortured the orc.
