The art is beautiful but the characters have no development. The main character actually begins to undevelope the longer she's in the world because she starts off believing in soul mates and ends up taking 3 spouses. Winston becoming her spouse is actually quite disappointing. 😞

I am up to date on the story because I have been enjoying it, but I have to say that Winston ending up with QingQing just set me off! I desperately wanted him to end up with a female who sees him for who he is and loves him because of how he looks. The author is from a culture where thin and pale is the beauty standard for both men and women where as in Western culture we prefer tanner skin as a sign of a healthy person. I will continue the story but I just wish there would come a female character who changes their world and shows them that females can be self sufficient and battle hardened as well.

It's so great! I'd really love to see Winston with a female that finds his scars attractive though. He's my favorite male and I find him the most attractive. maybe he should end up with a feral beastman's daughter?
