Iâm at chapter 60. I donât know if the author truly believes every reader is stupid or he thinks explaining every small nuance is good writing. I skipped full on paragraphs of the most pointless rambling. At one point he dedicates an entire chapter on how debt works for the academy. Ho-ly. Shit.

Genuinely too wordy. I could skip this whole page and it would not have a single % of impact for the rest of the story. For those who believe that this writing is okay, you must believe more is always better and thatâs just not the case. World building is great but this is not that, itâs details for the sake of details. Of course exploring the debt dynamic is cool but you essentially took the whole page to say. Yeah we give no interest loans that are payable upon graduation through contracts with x or y. Maybe more nuanced than that but still not worth making take up the whole page.
