I picked this book up to read while I waited for updates of my other favorites. It was so captivating that I ended up binge reading it instead!!! I couldn’t put it down to even check my other books. The author did such a great job of capturing the characters emotions and pulling the reader into the story. WOW!! I am going to search for more of her books. I definitely recommend this book!!!

That was exactly the chapter I was referring to. But I think it only said Prince and since he didn’t have any powers, that we know of, my mind jumped to Arlan. But then that didn’t make sense since the love of her like was the King of Abetha. Thanks for explaining and it totally makes sense now. Plus children can be born without powers or those powers could be hidden. I know Cian is great in battle and he is going to be a great king. Maybe some supernatural abilities will surface later? Or he could be just human like his dad.

This book is a breath of fresh air with a different character design and plot. I have enjoyed unfolding the story and can’t wait for the next chapters to drop. I’d definitely recommend it!

I saw your messages. I was referring to a conversation Seren and Evanthe had when Seren was either training or just awakening. They referred to her son I thought and I was guessing that her son was Arlen. But the time line didn’t add up so I was really confused. I had been trying to find that conversation but no luck yet. So maybe her son is Cian? Maybe I misread the whole conversation. I often fall asleep while reading.
