Maybe u should modify this chapter a bit. There was absolutely no need to make MC completely unaware of surrounding and collide with female lead this way. U can still have the same scene without such an obvious forcing plot. He is going at X place cause he knows it gets great weapon, just didn't consider that he knows this cause X protagonist (Rose) reveals it in game and it's supposed to be secret. There he collides with Rose who probably came to fix her own sword, she hits from back and Mc almost impales himself on his own sword or something. In surprise he turns and is about to curse Rose, but realizes her identity from her appearance and inevitably says something like "oh it's u" Before quickly covering up pretending he didn't realize who she was and sauntering off. Rose still suspects him though, and although not as blatant u kinda get same plot point. Anyway too long a comment but i thought instead of just complaining I should give a suggestion here instead. Hope it's not a bother.

Absolutely loved it till atleast the big tournament in 2nd year. Has all the stuff that makes a xianxia great, is super engaging and has a rare smart MC. Same with the romance, amazingly well done. That scene with the stars gave me flashbacks of watching the iconic Bakemonogatari confession scene. Really liked it. What I didn't like was the MC resetting his talent to 5 stars. Seemed like the only not perfect card dealt to him in this life was also taken away. Completely random & unnecessary too since he was already making his way around it. Also didn't like the entire 5 élément stuff. Almost every xianxia MC have that, kinda sick of it now. Imo authors should not just give their MC everything. Give him metal, or wood or wind or water affinity. Let him be stronger in some areas and weaker in others cause of it. And let him use his knowledge to work around these weaknesses. 5 élément MC, or fire/lightening are so generic they just feel bland in a way, makes me kinda disappointed since the novel is pretty great otherwise. Still its just minor issues. All in all, great read. Definitely recommended.

Tbh slightly disappointed that our MC might become just another 5 élément master. Xianxias are literally littered with either 5 élément masters or fire specialist. Was hoping he could be different. Maybe wood élément or gold or water. Being a specialist with both advantages and disadvantages, and the MC having to work around them with his intelligence might have been fun, especially since we actually have a smart MC here. Regardless enjoying it right now. Been a long long while since I have read such a promising xianxia. An absolute gem really.

Tbh makes no sense that there is no precaution in a 500 year old sect about the most obvious loophole ever. At least a few kids would have come from business backgrounds and would have recognized it right away. Then once they gain enough to have the capital, they could easily exploit the younger kids using this method. After all it's just too obvious with the only requirement being a decent p capital in the beginning. Anyway apart from this liking this book immensely. Just dislike these sort of money glitches which seem to insult the intelligence of people in cultivation world.

What happens when say a 16th ranked dies. Doesnt the 17th becomes 16th. So the family or previous 16 majors effectively end?

Imo a lot of them if u look are actually spammers. Some of them might be just kids who want OP protagonist right from second chapter. Might account for a lot of 1 stars. Personally I agree with you, as far as Naruto fics go, this one is pretty good.

Another great chapter. The entire growth arc of Takuma has been amazing! The entire tournament for a C rank jutsu is so well thought out. All the fights were great, and impressed with Takuma's grit. Hope he wins. Cheering Takuma on his journey! Thanks for writing this gem.

Gem in a pile of stones. Good slow paced development where our Mc isn't handed stuff on platter and instead works hard for it. It's a bit angsty in the beginning since MC suffers a bit, which I guess is the reason for so many bad reviews here. But if you are not content with the usual fast food stuff available on this site and would rather want an MC who struggles and works hard for his achievements, this one will satisfy you.

3 is the most I am okay with and only cause it's a xianxia so would be pretty long. Usually 2+ means the female characters end up shallow, and definitely the male mc looks even shallower. Good way to control the impulse is to think if you would share your girl with any other man. Sobers one up real quick. Anyway just started your novel and really enjoying it right now.

There are atleast 2 things special about him. One that weird ability to instinctively see past genjutsus. his amazing talent with academy's fake clone jutsu is also probably connected to this. The second this is the scars on his body and mysterious past which even Hokage is aware about. Some of the stuff that's being subtly hinted at. But he still has just become genin so it should take quite some time to explore these abilities.

There is entertainment in slow character development. I really don't like when MC just obliterate everyone. This looks so much more realistic and mature.

Really liked it. Slow and deliberate development, which I feel is much more accurate as to how a person would react to, after being send to a world like Naruto. For a normal person, adapting to it should not be easy after all. Also the slow progress makes it feel so much more worthwhile. A much more mature work than most on this site. Looking forward to the next chapters !

I dunno what u guys think beta testers are, but we generally only hire them to test base mechanics of game. If quests are working properly, noc and combat mechanics are ok or not, those stuff. Exposing any rare quest etc to a beta tester before the opening of a game, which gives them too much advantage over others, in a game which is even slightly monetized is basically a hefty lawsuit in making. Nobody does that.
