Nice move from (future) brother in law
I’m assuming that when you wear red it’s not obvious when you bleed. (I forgot which novel I read but it mentioned that people couldn’t tell that the heroine was hurt because she wore red clothes in fights.) If bleeding is a sign of weakness/vulnerability, then they’d want to mask that as much as they can.
There are flies everywhere
Maybe this means that she would be able to travel thousands of miles safely (i.e., her skills with the dagger is a weapon that would keep her safe wherever she goes)

Overall, I liked it more than not. Pros: I like how ML is a work in progress, and not some perfect specimen that is the general/president/CEO at a ridiculously young age. FL is also not invincible, and while she has a cheat system, she still has to try and doesn’t master every skill under the sun. The story is cute, and pace was good (until the end). Cons: the ending was sooooo rushed. Basically the author uses the last chapter to wrap everything up even though there were at least 100+ chapters left in the storyline. There were hints of a mystery (FL’s dreams and the connection to Little 7), but they weren’t addressed. Also felt like the romance between FL and ML were super rushed because of the end and not very satisfying (despite all that growth in the beginning part of the book).
I snorted water out of my nose when I saw “mountain bike”
He’s acting like his father’s son here
Strong start, fast pacing, and likeable main couple. I was rooting for them to take revenge on all their enemies, but the story abruptly ends. Sadly, there are a lot of unresolved plot points (who wanted to assassinate the ML that his grandfather was protecting, who was that mysterious man who helped out the FL when she was ambushed, did FL’s twin brother really die, are they really twins, etc.), so I guess we’ll never know :/
Love a practical MC
Truck-kun strikes again
Oh the ”interesting” comment makes an appearance… but seriously she is actually interesting
Only halfway through, but this is one of the best things I’ve read here. Great writing (grammar issues are my pet peeve), plot and pacing are on point, nice steamy scenes, believable character development, and you can’t help but root for the main couple. Looking forward to the author’s other works!!
LOL luck favors the prepared :D
