Well, this is an inevitable question, so I will answer it. As you can see, mc was a reader prior to his reincarnation, he has a lot thing to complain and to do in case he was chosen. So, when he got his chance naturally he will set everything up accordingly but in meantime, he would enjoy himself as long it DIDN'T affect his overall progress. MC is not some old monster who live for like a million or even gazzilion of years then suddenly found himself in a body of a boy, he just a regular person, and naturally he has his own desires. I know you have read a lot of not so-good romance or harem story, but I assure you that the way mc behave was due to his hatred towards the "evil" mc he have read. He didn't one to become one himself, where he become too edgy that lost a few number of his IQ and EQ, or become too blind to enjoy himself and being an hypocritical forced romance. A true evil don't mean lack of sympathy or devoid of human emotions, in fact it was the other way. While understanding what is correct and precious, but still chose to stomp on it with no care is way to go. Well, that was a lot of text. I hope this convey the message well.
