Its logical, actually. At least in this story. He born intelligent, and the rocks on the ground are bigger than him. Unless the rocks are actually super massive in size, its not weird for him to think 'Huh, stones are bigger than me. i must be small.' The author didnt specify whether hes a human in his past life, but he retain a bit of intelligence, so thats that.

Please author, dont ruin your book with' beautiful potential female lead showing interest in MC for no reason' Countless of wuxia books had been ruined because of this concept. And its feels truly dehumazing to read is as a girl-- imagine not one or two, but 98% of books describing what is 'beautiful bodies' on woman, or that women always smells good, soft voice, soft hands (like wtf?), even their breath smells good. Let me tell you, I have a few classmates that looks like kpop star idols. Their skin isnt always perfect, their breath smells a bit, they have bad hair day, sometime their lips chapped and bleed etc.
