I feel like she forgot that up until this moment she’s been stronger than him, and he didn’t really have the chance to kill her no matter how much he’s wanted too. Which makes sense cause she’s emotionally distressed right now.
Okay this isn’t at all what hatred means
Personally in my opinion, I actually think the Noel’s emotions are realistic. I mean, when you think about the guy is what 15? And he’s gone through months of hardship where his entire world has been shattered and experiencing emotional pain that would rip your heart to shreds with probably mental illnesses like depression and PTSD. All the while the only thing keeping him going is revenge potentially. And that’s exactly why Im kinda hoping his parents aren’t still alive. Like Noel knows that his father is behind his own execution but that doesn’t mean they’re still alive, there are certain things worth dying for and I was kinda hoping to see what it might have been. There’s also the fact that just because his parents are alive, doesn’t mean (and frankly shouldn’t) that he’ll lose all that hate. In fact it could potentially make it worse, cause children can forgive their parents for physical pain that can cause them to grow. But emotional pain? I know if I was in Noel’s shoes I’d be asking myself “What reason could possibly be so important that they would do all this to me?” And even if it was the most valid reason in the world it probably wouldn’t matter cause emotions aren’t logical. It’s not that can be solved with a simple sorry. As for the deal with Anna even if she wasn’t the one who killed his family and she’s changed to be a better person. It doesn’t change the fact that originally she had every intention of murdering his family without any care in the world. This in itself would be hard to get over. Anyway I’m just hoping this doesn’t turn into a story where everyone tells Noel to get over it because “nothing bad really happened anyway so why are you mad?” These are just my thoughts, sorry if it seems like a rant.
Love the story but this chapter felt a bit like it was forcing reconciliation. Also might be dark of me but I kinda hope his parents aren’t alive, I feel like if they were that would take away some of the meaning behind the emotions and intentions of the characters.
Same, I feel like this power up would have been best saved for when he reached the second or third heaven, for two reasons: One, because he already reached that level before but it would’ve remained to be seen if he could reach higher, and two because so far we haven’t had that many intense fights for Xiao in the first heaven he had already pretty quickly reached the peak for that realm because of his connection with Yarou
You know when I started reading this story (back when there was like 40 chapters) I originally thought that Bloed and Eres were evenly talented just in different ways, but after her full inclusion into the story I’ve changed that thought. Also I’m waiting for the moment when she hits a wall for the first time, and I’m hoping she won’t immediately get over it.
You know after reading the previous four chapters I was hoping that either Xiao would realize who the woman he spent is final days with was or that Valencia would somehow gain these memories and give that untold story meaning in the current timeline… but this.. I’m not sure I wanted it this way…
I’m assuming this should be ’thanked Xiao’ or ’thanked him’
After re-reading the chapter I think that the loophole mentioned is a loophole in the contract both Xiao and Valencia signed in the previous chapter, where Valencia’s master Adria could get away with killing Xiao because she wasn’t part of the contract, and Xiao was pointing out that All-Seer has a consciousness and could also do the same.
So just a little question I have, I’m pretty sure i‘ve seen the term “32 meridians” in other stories as well as this one which is totally cool and all (unless my mind is completely remembering wrong) but I was looking up meridians to try and understand them better but all I found were the 12 standard meridians and the 8 extraordinary meridians which adds up to 20… so where do the extra 12 come from? I’m really confused…
And this is why we talk to our parents… cause in all fairness when they first met Valencia, and Xiao’s mom started teasing him, all he told her was to never try and set up a thing between him and her. He should’ve said to never get involved with them…
So all in all still really sad
Did it say that he left her without any protection? I don’t remember. Also I don’t know if it said anything about her telling him her problems so he could’ve just left her without any protection cause he didn’t realize that she was in danger in her realm. These are honest thoughts not trying to be hostile or anything.
Bro if you want realism read non fiction also it’s been stated that humans are a relatively new race in the four heavens, and the thing about humans is we adapt to what’s available. The thing about anything that’s created (technology or even art) is that it’s a product of need and circumstance, with however many of different technologically advanced races there are, each of their tech would be different and humans certainly wouldn’t start from the ground up we’d simply adapt their tech to our needs. Also even if things look similar doesn’t mean it doesn’t entail new knowledge like All-Seer says.
