Madeline doubted the words Calhoun just said. Did he mean it literally or did it mean something else? Her lips felt too alive like her body. Without any warning, Calhoun put his hand around her waist and pulled her up as he sat on the bed on his heels. Her hands clutched onto his shoulders. As Calhoun had pulled her up with the dress still bunched up, her legs had ended up on either side of him while her core pressed on something hard.
