absolutely love all of the books in this collection
If you have read the previous books you should know about Maximilian's story, If you haven't read, I would urge to read:Valerian Empire, Heidi and the Lord, Bambi and the Duke. As easy it is to read this book as standalone, you will enjoy the book the fullest if you know the background story of the other characters while there are minute and subtle details I make use of from the other books.
