I understand that you are translating this story in the same chapter structure as it was written, but OMG, how it annoys me. The chapters are basically “he wanted to go somewhere so he stepped out of his house <end>. <new chapter> he crossed the street, greeted someone<end>….” and so on.

All well and good, but do you really need to drag out a fight scene for four chapters already?

Supposedly it is not advised to use shields on arakis. For one, it attracts the sand worms, and there also was something about sand interfering, but here I may be mistaken

Overall a nice piece of fiction. However the chapters are rather short, cutting in the middle of a fight and such. And there are some mistakes here and there.

I understand that it is AU and all, but can you please specify the timeline? First 3 chapters it looks like it is set in the old republic era, chapter 4 mentions Boba fett, who is several thousand years to soon to be in Old republic. It just confuses and breaks immersion
