honestly, the way she's acting probably has something to do with time loops and seeing the future. the final loop is probably the result of the mad prince and torment working together, to defeat the real baddies and allow for success. but to achieve perfection, only so much can be revealed at any given point of the time loop, or the loop itself "fails to succeed" and starts a new loop. honestly, if you had to deal with the same thing hundreds of thousands of times, you'd probably either A- be a jerk bc every "new question" is really the same one over and over to you and you're tired of it, B- just do whatever bc explaining things is redundant, especially if the potential of things going wrong and leading to another loop reset could be messed up by someone else interfering on incomplete information. also, I'd be pissed if i was living a loop, realized the loop, worked hard to end the loop, and finally, upon getting close to ending it, someone else comes along and potentially biffs it. or this is where she turns sunny into the mad prince, because technically in order to close the loop, the mad king has to be created in order to cause the other loops to happen. since the mad king "left" the loop a dozen chapters ago, he might have to be reinserted somehow while retaining an noncorrupted sunny somewhere somehow? i actually will guess right now that soon we'll end up back at the very start of the nightmare, at the "true" final loop.

in hindsight ... just because they're dead now doesn't mean they can't reappear in another nightmare, if things like time loops are to be considered. maybe we'll get a 1v1 equal footing match later!
Or maybe it was simply because of where they came from. In any case, Sunny had a good feeling about altering the Memories left behind by the two immortal Saints.
