Hes the main character from “record of a mortals journey to immortality”. He was sold as a child to a mortal martial arts sect and taken in by the sects in-name elder, Who also happened to be the a herbalist/doctor. Through some cirsumstances, Han li stumbles upon the cultivation world. But the way it happens makes him realise that he could die at any point. This makes him a very cautious person who is always weighing the pros and cons of “opportunities”, with direct threats to his life being a no no. This trait kinda sticks with him even as he gets stronger cus he understands that there’s always a bigger fish.
