Read books
Sadly, I did not enjoy this book as some commenters/readers did. I enjoyed maybe only about 20% of this book. Chapters 1-20 (possibly) were okay but somewhere down the line, this book began to drag on and on and on! I did a huge sigh of relief when it was finally over. I was trying my best to finish this book that I started more than a year and half ago. I think, if this book was less about the political agenda that V and Jack experienced and more about their struggled relationship, this story would have kept my interest. It was a book less about romance between the two and more about righting some injustice. The grammar and sentence structure was hard for me to overlook at times.

Not sure how Jack got out of being surrounded by the other wolves. I guess they just gave up seeing that he had a force field around him.
I wonder as to how they would get lost if they are wolves with a great sense of smell. I think there are some key elements in this book that may be lacking and disconnected from the reality of true wolves.
Hopefully, Lucinda and Lance are not conspiring against Vi, making it seem as if they are mates for the purpose of getting Lance into the palace for evil intent!
Yeah, tired of that mate he was paired with!
Once again, she is putting him on a GUILT TRIP for not agreeing and going along with her foolishness!
He is RIGHT!!!
Again, how do you know there was an AMBUSH, if you yourself was badly beaten and wounded!!!! SKETCHY…
Why would he mention her thinking he set a trap for her…while he is hoping she wasn’t her too 🤷🏽♀️ Makes me think he already knew something…so he is not going to tell he where to meet so she can’t tell anyone where she will be in case she needs help!!!!
It is more than a possibility and I’m not sure why this surprises her.
Yes, totally selfish and on her own power trip. She doesn’t want to be controlled so badly that she is ignorantly placing herself in harms way and expecting Jack to be okay with her poor decision making skills.
Or else he’ll drink himself into a frenzy!
I thought she was gonna keep her mouth closed 😑🤦🏾♀️ Where is my duct tape!
He is just as dumb as she is and a drunk!
Homegirl is dumb…stupid…ignorant…and foolish. I know V wants to trust Lance easily and Lance may not be guilty of any wrongdoing but, that doesn’t mean you take your life so carelessly when danger and threats were promised! At least take someone with you if not your mate just to watch your back. I don’t feel sorry for her at all and once again, she is an IDIOT!!!
Some of these sentence structures are reading way too long...I think I might pass on this book from that standpoint alone.
