NatQuin5mthReplied to Phantom_Wolf_2807Hello! So happy that you've been enjoying the story. Every story up until the very end of COPIED (Sonic Heroes arc) is an exact simulation of actual events that happened in the past in the Sonic Runaways universe. After which, the simulation begins to break in stories like 06 and Unleashed. Even those happened in Sonic's reality, just a bit differently. Cyberspace breaking in those stories was mostly to keep them fresh compared to their source material. As for Tails, that's a bit of a spoiler. Regarding updates, I try to make daily updates of chapters whenever a volume/arc is complete, but it can be a bit inconsistent truth be told because of my other projects. I've also been sick lately so I've been taking time off. Thank you so much for all your support!

CONCEPT ART CORNER: Nikki Hedgehog, Sonic's undercover alter-ego!
Next thing he knew, he had run in and out of every shop. When he left the emporium, he had swapped out his golden mask for a pair of glasses, his cloak for a baggy red sweater with an "N" on it. His iconic shoes for blue boots with yellow at the tips, his black arm-length gloves for some oddly nostalgic white wrist-length gloves. He had even dyed his hair to make himself a brunette. His skin now had a layer of pink blush. He had gone through a complete makeover. And to suit this… he needed a new name. "Sonic… Nic… Nikki?" He thought on it. Sonic then shrugged. "Eh, why not?" CONCEPT ART CORNER: The mysterious ladybug girl!
People shouted and grunted in annoyance as a ladybug girl shoved through the crowd. She was oddly dressed and appeared almost lifeless. She was wobbly, yet looked like she knew what she was doing. Bored yet intent on some kind of unknown goal. Tired at two in the afternoon. She looked about a year or three too young to be drinking, and it was a very formal kind of Tuesday. So everybody had to wonder what made her appear so careless as she made an unorthodox dance through the crowd. "Bitch!" Angry people shouted as they were pushed aside by the top-hatted ladybug girl. "Stupid animal! Go back to the petting zoo!" The humans in the crowd cried. This got them angry glances from the anthropomorphic individuals standing close enough to hear over the sounds of the city. - NatQuin1yrCommented

CONCEPT ART CORNER: Professor Dillon Pickle
"Oh, heavens no!" Professor Pickle replied. "I get anxious when people watch me eat." Sonic nearly fell asleep after a few minutes, when he finally heard the guy step towards the door. "Alright then," Professor Pickle gasped as he finished the last sandwich. He opened the door, and wiped his face with a cloth. He had big bushy eyebrows that covered his eyes, a big nose, and white hair. "Sorry to leave you waiting… Oh my! There's so many of you! Well, do come in if you so please. They continued through the dimly-lit streets of Ccino. The warm light emanating from the old-fashioned buildings felt like a warm blanket as they staved off the cold air that smelled of brews and cocoa. The gravelly concrete road crunched under the group's footsteps, as they entered the university campus. In front of them was a huge academy. Tails looked around, before seeing Ata waving at them on top of the university's Solaris statue. Her hair looked neater than it was the last time Tails saw her. "Hey Tails! Hey Sonic! Hey Amy!" She cried, jumping up and down on the spherical metal sculpture with little concern for falling. Tails flew over to her. - NatQuin1yrCommented

Suddenly, a darkness was cast over the surrounding area. "Thank you for the lights, Zor!" A pretentious announcer voice exclaimed through some kind of crackly old filter. There was electro swing blaring in the background. Sonic looked up and saw a large, hexagonal float lower from one of the floating pieces of land above. There was a spotlight on the float. "Thank you everybody… for attending my show…!" Standing there, was a girl with a puffy afro and a sparkly black dress that went down to the float. On her face was a fancy white mask. In fact, she was entirely black and white. There was a straw-shaped horn poking out from her hair that made it look like a root beer float. "WELCOME TO… 'LIFE WILL CHANGE'!!!" She cried, enthusiastically. The rest of the Deadly Seven clapped. - NatQuin1yrCommented

Sonic went tumbling the other way, and saw a woman with green hair throwing a bomb resembling a snowman head in his direction. When it hit, he was trapped in cold, freezing… ice cream? Zeena looked down upon the frozen Sonic, with Sonic only able to stare at her as he felt his body go numb. "My my, would you look at that? I wish that was me. That would be delicious!" Zeena stated, as a hard chocolate shell formed around the ice cream. "Still, getting rid of you now will be that much sweeter." Suddenly, Sonic heard some kind of rocket being fired. It exploded, and broke through the chocolate shell. Zeena instantly jumped away as Sonic was caught in the blast and sent flying upwards. "Oh, what the heck, Zazz?! You coulda killed me!" Standing with one leg atop a rock, another member of the Deadly Seven was holding a rocket launcher. She was dressed like she was about to star in a rock concert. "I was gonna TAKE HIM TO THE BOSS while he was stuck in ICE CREAM or something. And you just tried to actually shoot him!" Zazz lowered the rocket launcher without a word. "Wow, you actually got up. I didn't want to do that this morning, but here we are," the girl with short purple hair that covered one of her eyes moaned without a lick of energy. She had a suit that resembled an owl. Her shadow stretched behind Sonic, formed itself as its own three-dimensional entity, and roundhouse kicked him. He took the kick and Spin Dashed towards the girl herself. "How about I do you a favor and make it so you never get up again?" As Sonic neared the girl, another one came rushing in to kick him away like a soccer ball. "Or you can do it, Zeena. I don't actually care." - NatQuin1yrCommented

Tails went skidding back on his feet, before propelling himself forward again to try and save Sonic. "Hey, pass me one of those, Master Zik?" The largest woman asked the smallest one. She had yellow, almost orange hair. Without a word, the white-haired woman, Zik, shot an orange the other one's way. With a large boost of energy coming from eating the delicious fruit, the yellow-haired girl spun around, turning into a tornado and sweeping Tails up into the air. He landed harshly, trying to get up. "Did I do good, Zav?" She asked with great enthusiasm, looking Zavok's way expectantly as she came to a stop. - NatQuin1yrCommented

"I remember when I was the one handing out the orders. I'm proud to see you take the title of leader, Zavok," another woman with white, messy hair and a black bodysuit stated. Given how she looked like the youngest out of the seven, it was hard for Tails to believe she was ever in charge. "I miss bossing you all around, but I suppose I have been waiting for the day where I can enjoy the fruits of my labor." She summoned a basket's worth of fruit around her, and shot them towards Tails. He dodged an extra spiky pineapple, but was nailed by a melon smashing into his face at high speeds. - NatQuin1yrCommented

"Move, my Deadly Seven!" The woman with two turquoise ponytails and a red top ordered. It seemed like she was the leader, and it also seemed like she could break Tails like a twig. Sonic lied there on the ground, dazed after she had punched him. Or maybe he was just faking it to appease her. "Let's get this over with already." Tails met up with Amy, and soon rounded a corner. When they did, they noticed some girl none of them had ever seen before. She appeared to be a cross between an axolotl and a snake. She was feeling around a statue of an owl. No sign of Sonic. It was as if he forgot about trying to find anybody and ran right by her. - NatQuin1yrCommented

"Okay, then I suppose it's time for an overhaul!" Amy exclaimed. She focused her mind, and summoned forth a haze of tarot cards! They began to circle around her, closing in. "Tarot Amy form, activate!" She began to shine brilliantly. When the glow faded, she was standing there in an animated pose, with a completely new set of clothes. Green shirt, orange skirt, a pure gold headband with three angelic spikes sticking out to the sides, and a red bow. Standing there, was a red Erian belonging to some kind of species Sonic had never seen before. He was a little bit taller than Sonic, but shorter than Amy, and had a checkmark-shaped white patch of fur on his chest. He had two large spiked knuckles protruding from both fists. "Oh! Hello there, visitors," the red Erian greeted in a tough yet calm voice. "Sorry for the startle. I'm Knuckles the Echidna. But just call me Knuckles. I'm your dedicated tour guide. They were so close to the ocean's surface, the hardships of Giganima and the entirety of the Iron Dominion nothing but a distant memory. They couldn't go back if they tried. Iron Queen had them all officially exiled when they returned her back home to her palace. Right after she single-handedly broke the giant chain holding Little Planet down to Erius.
