That’s a great suggestion. I’ll keep in mind what you’ve said but I hope it’s okay if I change some things around slightly. As for the man by the cage, yes it is Blink. Thank you for commenting and letting me know what you think so far and thank you for your comment on the previous chapter as well, it really helped me gain some motivation to finish this chapter. I hope that along the way you stay patient with me and my non existant upload schedule, I know it’s difficult waiting for an update. I will try to have the next chapter out more quickly than this one came out but I can’t make any promises at the moment due to my faulty schedule. Again, thank you so much for commenting on both this chapter and the last one it really helps an author keep going when they know at least one person is reading 🙂

No, they discovered it because of ants but after that they started tasting the urine to see if it was sweet they, and they started tasting it themselves because they couldn’t wait for the ants to just show up. I’ve done a lot of research on diabetes because I am a diabetic and I have been for almost 14 years now.

Didn’t Logan tell the group how he knew it was her? Or am I wrong and he told them when she wasn’t in the room yet?
All those years of training were hammered into her so she wouldn't be caught during an investigation, and in the end, she was caught by another student. Theres also the problem of Peter not going to classes. Which, when that happens, would prompt the school to track him via his watch and realize that Logan in harbouring someone who got away from Truedream and probably working with Pure since that’s who Quinn said they were when they rescued them

You make a valid point however, they’re in the desert where the sun shines 24/7 (or however long on this particular planet). Meaning that the bodies would decay much more quickly than if they’re were in a tropical or winter climate. Also, the scavengers that live in the sand would tear the bodies into smaller pieces which would also make them decay even faster than normal.

Except they said it was PURE saving the kids, which means Quinn would have special training instead of an ability if he was one of them
