The orphanages were all full and that's why the government created these houses and sent food to the children but a lot of them still died due to hunger or illnesses as there was no one to take care of them even when they were ill. I dont think that the percentage of who were women is the issue. The issue is more about that fact that the author had to mention that most female. It was unnecessary 🤷🏽

I think that immortality is just so that you stop aging (not diying from old age). What you’re thinking of is invincibly, which is where you can’t be kill (but i guess can still die from old age). It’s complicated...
