aside from a joke fanfiction, this was the first thing i committed to writing to an ending or conclusion. i appreciate you trying to proof read it, but im not going to change any of it.

Been very busy with life. I have no intentions to stop the story here and I do have a very clear path in storyboarding. That being said, you are as caught up as I am, unfortunately. I'm trying to find time to write here and there while also getting ready to move as well as recording and publishing videos for my youtube channel. As one would expect, my channel comes first for me and I'm trying to maintain a proper uploading schedule and I'm even struggling at that. Thank you so much for being patient with me! I promise this story will be at the very least halfway done by the end of next year!

Yumi is a completely original character as well as Clyde, James, Jason, and the team that infiltrates the Umbrella facility. I have preference art for these characters but it's art based on other characters from other stories. I tweaked their designs in the description of how they look in my story. (much like how claire was inspired by Sarah Conner from Terminator 2 but only in looks.)

Budi allowed a hybrid plaga to go inside his system. it taxed his heart because the plaga was attached to his spinal cord which is naturally apart of the torso, which is where the heart is. Steve was first infected with the veronica virus which can control any BOW under the same virus. It taxes steve's brain because he is instinctively contacting the hivemind that all of the zombies under the Veronica Virus. good catch though. His heart IS going crazy whenever he does this, but because of his crazy metabolism, his heart is always going crazy, no matter what he does.

I'll be the first to admit that Steve and Yumi's relationship was nothing serious. her death was the last child like thing Steve had before he was forced to grow up. her dying made him no longer feel like a teenager, because he absolutely blames himself for her death

The virus in his system has become less of a parasite and more apart of his DNA. the only way she could have gotten infected was if his blood had mixed with hers. there was an extended scene when they were seconds away from penetration and they had considered the fear but in the end, did not really care cus they were too busy wanting to get jiggy. I removed that scene for sake of keeping its rating

HEADCANON!!! that's the word I was thinking of! This takes place in the exact universe of the game franchise but is my headcanon that continues Steve's story.

the pretty young posh British voice? ya, I made it very obvious the second time he had heard her voice he knew who it was. I'm pretty sure I even wrote her name in the scene

who knows. at this moment, Steve is unable to feel love, even though he remembers claire now, I'm not sure if he will still love her

"A mistake happened, and Steve murdered a member of Cara's team. After that, the board had declared Steve a class S BOW". Chris is a prideful man. He doesn't take pleasure in knowing that the team he assigned had killed an innocent and innocent who had done nothing wrong. The "mistake" is what he refers to when Todd shot Yumi. cus of all purposes, it really was a mistake. Todd intended to kill Steve but Carlos yanked the gun just in time to have the gun accidentally aim at Yumi. which was also why Carlos chose to call Claire and tell her everything. so technically speaking, Claire may know more of the story than what Chris may know. You do understand that Yumi is an essential character that has made Steve who he is after everything, and maybe a reason why he may never be in a relationship again? I mean that was a bit of a point to the story in this chapter. The for all purposes, he should love Yumi but he physically incapable of feeling love ever since he became what he is now.

The prologue explains his consequences more thoroughly. Wait till Friday.

This book was being written within the span of 4 years and on February 19th of 2021, it was finished. the next story that will continue is going to be called Resident Evil: Rekindled. I enjoyed writing this story so much, and appreciate every single person who commented and reviewed it and supported it while it was being published.
