1. It's explicitly stated that the prophet is just a prophet, still a human not a god. You pray FOR him as you pray FOR yourself and any other TO God. It's an act of gratitude, much like how we are grateful to our teacher, mentor, etc for their knowledge and guidance. As for that stone ? you missed by a long shot. It's not about the stone, it's about the act, the intention behind it. The stone itself act as a reminder. It's said that the stone was originally pristine white but later became black due to humanity's sin. So when you look at that stone, do you remember what sin have you committed? Only God himself can give a forgiveness. Someone want a forgiveness for his sins. How and what to do? The realization, the intent, and the act of looking for forgiveness is what matter. It's not like Christian's "Indulgence" that's said to be able to reduce the punishment for sins. If we're going to be saved anyway, Why not sin some more? Punishment? Splurge some money to reduce it! Right? Also, in islam it's not speak on behalf, but a Testimony of a witness of your deed. Not just a stone, even your own body, hand and feet, the place you pray, even animals you helped/abused. 2. Quran 2:42 literally said "Do not mix truth with falsehood, or hide the truth when you know it." Where did you even see it as a command to lie and hiding the truth? Quran 10:94 is about a practice of cross reference. If anyone at that time Muhammad included is still in doubt about what's told in Quean, why not ask jews as their scripture also has something similar to those told to in Quran. As for whether the content of the scripture is wrong? Again, islam acknowledge both as a genuine holy scripture, but they're already altered and/or misinterpreted. It's not as long as it's old enough it's true. 3. So what they did at that meeting actually? 4. That verse mainly talks about who you can marry, in which a married woman is forbidden. The exception here is if a prisoner of war (woman, married, not a Muslim initially) were to convert to Muslim. As islam forbid cross religion marriage, especially for woman, that woman would also be not acknowledged as married (as in divorced) and after the waiting period she could be married. As for slavery itself, while not abolished it's heavily regulated and gradually phased out. Islam placed restrictions on how people could become slaves (mostly a war prisoners), prohibiting the raiding of free people and the selling of free individuals into slavery. Most Muslim country outlawed the practice of slavery.
tom : Ahh, good times
if not for the ancient pact that mortal could not harm divines I don't know what would happen
at least it's subtle enough
please people do your research and not just believe some rumors and hoax. where did you hear and know this hoax about islam from ? it's basically all wrong. islam is a monotheistic, there's only one God to pray on, not multiple. as for rejecting the content of bible, yes the do. they acknowledge the existence of the bible but not the current one. according to them the current bible has been altered and no longer a holy Bibles it was. I mean, which one of you rational people believe that God's words could be changed just by humans having an conference meeting? as for the order to enslav, kll, and such that's a pure slander and false claims
"I cast Fist"
thanks for the update btw, what's an imaginary divine corpse ?
in one of my friends DnD session, they decided that a failed bread and a door was a viable option for a weapon, enchanted to hell and back, using them all the way to BBEG.
an exception, unlike other in the house
