I honestly have to say I enjoyed the first ~250 chapters a lot. The MC was quite considered especially to non cultivators, didn't take stupid risks and overall enjoyed his life while getting slowly stronger over time (and time he has seemingly an infinite amount of). Some chapters after leaving the mortal world (which I have to add made no sense, because earlier it was established he was "invincible" there and so he achieved his goal to be able to life a quiet life no matter what would happen, and so of course he left because he wants to become an immortal... Excuse me what?? he already is immortal but oh well), the story degraded into the typical cultivation bullshit of this website. The MC is suddenly surrounded by suicidal and plain evil people which therefore degrade the story into a stupid slaughter fest... Of course the MC finds some "invincible" technique which makes all his previously hard earned progression through puzzling together different techniques and kinda finding his own path completely worthless. Overall, even though I enjoyed the mystery aspect of the world building, due to the inconsistency of the mc this Novel is a complete waist of time!

Honestly? Compared to nearly all other system cultivation stories on this side, this is gold. No endless tournaments, no endless face slapping with povs who just go "Haha, look at this fool daring to inconvenience young master XYZ ..." and then later "OMG he is so strong, how can that beeee??!!" additionally, there are overarching plots... the mc is not just constantly ascending / going to a "stronger" place because NEED BE MOAR STRONK. (it is still happening but in a more believable way and he still has his sect he has to return to) Additionally, the MC is not a complete egomaniac and there is no Harem (thank God!). A bit of a detriment would be the timescale... The story takes place in a immortal cultivation universe... So it would be nice to see some longer time skips (with slice of life) before the next big event happens (I always stumble over the premiss of cultivators living thousands of years in a enormous world, and therefore thinking on a completely different scale, but events like the seemingly awakening of the true demon are seemingly felt instantly) @Autor. I would love to see the disciples to be an essential part of the sect in the future, because honestly, the sect is basically raising them while the mc is more like the rich uncle who lives in the same city and is there if needed but is not involved in every life at all.
