Later on, they get high from fruits that have adapted to living in that environment. Unless they're drinking mouthfuls every day, at most they'll get high or have a stomach ache.
The ocean is practically undrinkable but we still swin in it.
Self-conscience, they're just doing their jobs. I wouldn't kill someone if I were in his shoes.
Here's my thought process in this chapter. In short, Trelwny was high and used religion to sway the Sheikah mass to her bidding to wage war on a single Gerudo male. Long story, every century a male Gerudo is born, during Trelwny's presidency, the next male Gerudo was coming. I made the Ancient Sheikah presidents corrupt, someone doomed the world and another did inhumane experiments. Trelwny wanted to wage war on a single Gerudo male. The saying man isn't evil society makes him evil. That male wasn't evil to begin with, Trelwny made him believe he was evil. The Gerudo's would've been split, help their own and go against the Ancient Sheikah's or help Trelwny. And so in reality, Trelwny forced the world to fight a war caused by her.
Imagine if you're an introvert with little contact with other people, you probably wouldn't know what's rude or not.
I don't feel that adding another transmigrator makes the MC any less special. Yes, I added him because I feel like there needs to be balance. But also because fighting an opponent with conscience adds meaning to a villain. In BOTW Ganon is the main villain however he isn't threatening the safety of the world directly. Ganon in BOTW is like a bad omen, you don't see him directly but seeing a monster will remind you of Ganon. Hatsotan is the villain that I believe the story needs. Again, in the game you can take as much time as you need because there is no reason to rush. Now that there is a villain with an active role, the MC has more drive and purpose to fight Ganon.
I feel that is more in line with Hatsotan's thinking.
