The book is closed and the pages look empty in the beginning , so I'm afraid to spend any money or fast pass on it.

A GAME theory!

I loved this so much that I started pirating it as soon as I hit the paywall; which is what I do with most comics I enjoy, but not enough to pay for. And after I found out how good it was, I came back and payed for all of the chapters I already read AND the ones I hadn't yet. I've finally finished it, and the ending was amazing. I started this around 2019 and found out about the anime a couple months ago. I can't wait for the new adaptation and may even go back to read the book. If you're new, I highly recommend reading this all the way through, as the ending is actually an ending, unlike most comics on this site. Apparently, there are also extra short stories that weren't made into a comic, so I'm going to go look for those. Happy reading and have a good life. ✌️

I have never read the book, but I hear all sorts of good stuff about it and I want the badges. If the author reads this, never stop writing because of what someone said to hurt you, just focus on the fact that you influenced many people's lives positively.

I loved reading this, but the ending wasn't an ending, and I wish there was more. It would be great if there were more chapters, but I don't even know the original story.

I liked this comic but I'm confused about the ending. I may need to actually read the book to understand, but I don't even know what book it's based on or if it's even based off one.

I'm guessing that the trauma of your parents dying along with 90% of the people in the city, and then being treated like a lab rat for years would make your mental age regress. On top of that, he seems to be a recluse, so he doesn't exactly get enough contact with other humans to be bothered by what they think of him or know how to act correctly in public.

I wholeheartedly agree. It also introduced me to one of my favorite songs.

I actually don't know because it's been so long. What most likely happened is that I didn't subtract the 3 years in the beginning. Sorry for that.
