I just find it funny that they are trying to remove the ingrained wood fragments st all. Recycled paper and natural paper always had some imperfections.
here's to hoping it doesn't haha.
I personally love Winston. I loved him since the beginning. He's pure and sweet to her and only ever looks out for her well being. I have no qualms about the quartet. You have the childishness of Parker, the Icy badboy softy of Curtis and the supportive and protective Winston. Finally accepting him truthfully as her mate just ties them together as a family. It was awkward with Winston being treated so different. As soon as Parker gets over his bruised ego he will realize the importance of having Winston being a part of the family. Plus with dressing the kids up as tigers, we knew she had a fondness for them anyway.
Not exactly how I'd imagine they'd mate, but Winston being driven not only by the hallucination sting of the scorpion tribes leader and the mix of the flowers being in peak bloom, I can't hold him accountable for his actions. He would never intentionally hurt Bai, all he does all he is and wants to be is her protector and keep her safe. Both will be traumatized about this some way or another. Winston will blame himself and guilt will probably eat at him. Bai is injured, doesn't blame Winston and even has appreciation for the white tiger. Curtis's mark was made out of procession, hence the placement like a shackle on Bai's foot. Parker's mark on her chest is due to the love they have and grew with time and experience. His is placed closest to her heart. Winston's park is on her shoulder, similar position that one will get a tribal tattoo. Symbol of protection and honor. The relationship they had prior to mating as well as Bai's feeling towards her. She knows and knew he didn't do this action in his right mental state. I find the symbolism quite beautiful.
I love this novel. I love the characters, the concept, the world building, the detail, the development of relationships, the character developments, the twists and turns the story brings you through. There are minor typos but hey honestly this isn't something that has been gone through by an editor. The typos are no where near jarring enough to take away from this story's plot. 10/10 recommend.
I never imagined I could be so entirely immersed in a book like this. From the growth of the characters, to the pure expressions of love, to the twists and turns the author leads us through. This story is purely the definition of Love can and will conquer all. The writing is comparative to what you would find in any good fantasy/romance novel(minus a few typos but hey that's what editors are for ;3). If you are reading this author, I commend you for how well you can keep us all on our toes.
Parker is going to be so happy when he sees Bai again, especially when he sees her with his cubs. Parker is going to be the best daddy to those 3 little boys. While Muir kept him away from the birth, the bond Parker and Bai have shines through how she looks at their cubs. I highly doubt Bai will accept Muir once she finds out he's been keeping both of her mates away from her.
