your first mistake is using in-store for writing, I recommend writing in Trammell or just word office, and it's always auto saved, plus it has spelling corrections.
(This small author note is just to complain... You know what I fucking hate? If you haven't noticed, there isn't much dialogue in the story. It is early in his childhood, so lengthy dialogue and storytelling will come after he grows up.
