Author i finally figured it out. i was curious so i did some research. The reason Ben has been indulging in all of his desires (7 sins) is because apparently in star wars to become more powerful in practicing forces of the dark side you must delve deep into desires like greed, pride etc., and also this happens unknowingly once the dark side forces are being practiced which is why Ben is acting the way he is. 😎
With all of Ben's disappointment and negative emotions, his connection with the Force began influencing the world and he unconsciously produced the effect of a Dark side ability, causing clouds to gather and the sky become dark, while thunder and lightning crackled with.
