Listeeennnnnnn!!!!! This novel is sooo gooooddddd!!! I loved it. The FL didn't just suddenly have her strength due to her rebirth, but she had to work towards her strength and knowledge. I also love the way she interacts woth her system and all the other pets she acquires. I also find it hilarious how lazy she is. Face slapping is definitely included. Now here's the thing that's really up to personal preference: - The romance is not a big part of the plot. There's definitely some romance here and there, but I feel like the novel is more about the FL's journey to build strength, achievements, and power. I feel like the development of the relationship could've been better, but I didn't really mind it. The ML is definitely a wife spoiling type though. Bottom line is if you're looking lots of romance, lots of kisses, lots of hugs, lots of sweet couple moments...this is not the novel for you. -

This is what I wanted to say but I didn't want to spoil it for anybody, but I think I should just put a disclaimer that she wasn't kidnapped and there's a reason she's not allowed to run away.

To be honest I felt the same way and almost stopped reading it, but I continued because the FL had a realistic reaction. She wasn't understanding she was scared and wanted to run away. The author was really strategic and wrote the novel at a pace that allows you to forgive the ML with a reason that although it doesn't excuse what he did it's better than the FL forgetting what he did because she understands. After reading the entire novel and rereading it I've come to realize that his previous violent nature was highly tied to his illness. The more sick he was the more mentally unstable he was and the more mentally unstable he was the more sick he got. Honestly there were 2 incidents where he acted wrongly and they were both in the very beginning when he was at his sickest. I hope if you're willing you can give it a chance, but I won't force you because what he did was disappointing after all. I just can't stay upset after seeing the whole picture.

No need to care about the dumb aunt

This book was really good from what I've read. However, I don't think I can finish the book because of my disappointment in ML. He took too long to address his secretary's to disrespect towards FL especially with the FL trauma about being cheated on with a secretary. I'm too upset that he didn't make things clear to the secretary despite knowing she had feelings for him and being favored by some of his family members. He also really overreacted about a male's jacket at her house. Too aggressive for me. If this would disappoint you I don't suggest reading the book, but other than that it's not too bad. The idea as well as the storyline is really interesting.

It's really crazy how stupid these "powerful CEO's" are. It's like do your employees think for you because you don't sound smart. Any female that allows a man to cheat with her knowingly is not innocent period!!!

Right, the pawn is the strongest piece in the game

The amount of time and emotion I was willing to invest in this book just shows how good it is. Plus this author usually writes great books. Let me tell you, this book has never disappointed me when it comes to face slaps.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book. This is probably my favorite book on here so far. I have less than 200 chapters left, but I couldn't wait. The book is already interesting from the jump, but then there's this plot twist that boosts this story by 1000. Trust me on this PLEASE! The chapters go by so quick and there is so much FACE SLAPPING. This novel is just PERFECTION!!!!💯

Am I the only one who thinks that she has a reason to be sad or upset about not receiving the award. I just feel like it's not about the scholarship for her, but about receiving recognition and/or being appreciated for all the hard work you've put in. I also don't think her behavior towards her father's fiancee was unreasonable because at the moment she feels hurt and just needs to be comforted. Based on how her previous step-mothers didn't care about her, she probably assumed the same about this one. She just wanted to be comforted not be lectured about how she should treat her future step-mother, who she probably thinks is just like the others.
