Logic has power here. Hinata would become the love interest of the protagonist for this whole fiasco. She could become the love interest of the protagonist without taking her out of her character and representing in a better way Naruto's decision. I mean throughout the series naruto has several possible love interests that he stayed with one of them when hinata was involved with group affairs and hinata accepted his happiness after seeing and understanding how sad he lived. I mean her first love could be a happier and more bitter memory for her lack of interaction, showing her love and affection to the person who longs for her shy personality and her inferiority complex.
After a while Hinata recovered herself a bit as she sighs of how unfair her life was chasing one boy she loved for years didn't like him over his dream as she talked to herself, "Sigh… did I waste all my time chasing Naruto around like that? In fact, it would seem boring if the protagonist simply learned from scrolls. It would be interesting if there is an epic mission like helping a spirit so he can learn the control of the elements. OP is overrated.

I think itachi was taken by the father at four years old but konaha sent the children of 9 or 11? Officially of course! If I believe that what you mean is when they were at war, the situation was staggered spies wanting to kidnap the nine-tailed force or that terrorist plan of esplosives that was not carried out. In a world where a 6 year old with some abilities can be stronger than a normal adult in some situations it cannot be compared with common sense. Taking that into account, how many children reaching their ten years were not necessarily sent to kill since they did not meet the conditions. It is to be imagined that they were used as sentinels, messenger, help in the camp or even distraction. Now those kids can't have too much power be it money or status. Because as it is obvious, it is also precente corruption. The balance between clans and village elders who have power is not something that a child can or should engage without a guardian.
Sasuke now was in his apartment that the hokage gave him, he doesn't need to worry about any bills since the hokage will be the one responsible for it from now on just like Naruto.
