Well, despite some of the issues, I overall enjoyed my time reading the fic. Hopefully more will come out at some point, but if not this isnt a horrible stopping place.

I do think this fic has a lot of things that are good about it, but it seriously needs an editing pass for plot points, grammar, and spelling. so many things look like they came out of a bad mtl at times due to being the correct words if you sound them out, but totally incorrect as written - though it is inconsistent.

i feel like the last 20 chapters are just the MCs and the baddies all pulling out deus ex's with more and more +1's attached each time. da vinci noted earlier there wasnt much cyber security that shallot had besides the ai, and now he has this meta program to clean house.

its just missing an apostraphe where the space is. its one of the more readable grammar and spelling mistakes in this fic. not even worth mentioning imo

I feel like the author should focus more on interpersonal interactions rather than intricate illuminati plot. They have a much better feel for it, as a lot of the crucial plot pieces have a lot of issues with them, and the dialogue and interactions of the main characters are actually interesting.

so not only did they control friday, they have access to his base and everything. talk about lame. i get the author wants to have a thriller between intelligent foes, but this is SOOOOOOOOO not the genre and setting for it. people coming here for remnant and dbz are not here for psychological thriller and hidden shadow wars. i think this is the single greatest failing of this fan fic since about chapter 70 when the merot industries side story started.

yeah, agreed. this is deux ex, getting close to its worse applications. people like this dont just come out of the woodwork, nor are they just created randomly by a mad scientist. even gero had limits to his genius, and had many years to design and mature cell AND plenty of real techniques to draw from. all these random abilities that no one had before might have been created, but where is the inspiration coming from? just feels lame and forced

when was this exactly? 2 days after merlot island is like the day the prelims started? which are how many days before where the plot is currently up to? looking at the upcoming chaps, a random flashback arc is incoming. why not go over this before? ugh. i feel so upset by the end of the cinder arc, i feel like i need a break from this book before i hate on it too easily. im primed for smiting at the moment.

why not? emerald either gets apprehended or killed in my book lol. part of a conspiracy to start a war among kingdoms, and to slander many people. cinder is already a murderer and guilty of plotting mass homicide and acts of terror. any resonabke person would say life imprisonment or death are the only options.

If theyre willing to use a sniper, why not shoot a real student? This has gotten way too convoluted in an attempt to turn public opinion. a set of cameras would absolutely be able to see both the sniper and the evidence of a projectile, not to mention the red dot laser. It would fall apart in just a couple of days, and the grimm wave has already been dealt with.
